Terms of Service

1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the websites, products, and services operated by TypoWise AI ("TypoWise," "we," "us," or "our"), including typowise.site and any related applications or APIs (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Usage Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. The Service

TypoWise is an independent research lab developing artificial intelligence systems. The Service may include our public website, research materials, and AI-powered products that let you submit inputs ("Prompts") and receive generated outputs ("Outputs"). Features may change over time; we may add, modify, or discontinue parts of the Service with or without notice.

3. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. Where the Service requires an account, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

4. Acceptable use

Your use of the Service is subject to our Usage Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. You may not misuse the Service, interfere with its operation, or use it in violation of applicable law.

5. AI-generated outputs

Outputs are generated by artificial intelligence systems and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or reflect errors present in the underlying models. You are responsible for evaluating Outputs before relying on them. The Service is not a substitute for professional advice (legal, medical, financial, or otherwise) and must not be used in emergencies or for decisions that require qualified human judgment without appropriate human review.

6. Payments and billing

Certain features of the Service may be offered for a fee. Payments are processed by Stripe; by purchasing, you also agree to Stripe's terms. Pricing, billing cycles, and refund terms are presented at checkout or in a separate order. You authorize us to charge the payment method you provide. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or stated at purchase.

7. Intellectual property

We own the Service, including our models, software, design, and documentation. You retain ownership of your Prompts. Subject to your compliance with these Terms and applicable law, we assign to you our right, title, and interest (if any) in Outputs generated specifically for you. You acknowledge that similar or identical Outputs may be generated for other users, and Outputs may not be protectable by intellectual property law in some jurisdictions.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use them to improve the Service.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers, including hosting (Vercel), authentication and data storage (Supabase), payment processing (Stripe), and AI model routing (OpenRouter and the model providers accessible through it). Your use of features that depend on those providers is subject to their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that Outputs will be accurate or reliable.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TypoWise and its affiliates, officers, and contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim or USD $100.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TypoWise from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your Prompts, your use of Outputs, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these Terms or the Usage Policy, or if continued access would expose us or others to harm or legal liability. Upon termination, provisions that by their nature should survive (including Sections 7, 9, 10, and 11) survive.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Mexico, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the competent courts of Mexico, except where applicable law grants you a non-waivable right to bring claims elsewhere.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
